Biography

With over five decades of legal experience, Bill J. Kimpton is a cornerstone of Tampa Bay’s real estate law community. A graduate of Duke University School of Law, Bill began his distinguished career in 1972 and has since become a trusted authority in real estate contracts, development agreements, financing, and zoning law. His expertise spans complex commercial transactions and financing, title insurance issues, and property tax valuation. Bill’s leadership includes serving as past chairman of the Pinellas Real Estate Law Council, president of the Business Assistance Council, and founding chairman and board member of Flagship Community Bank. Known for his strategic insight and dedication to client success, Bill continues to shape the region’s legal landscape with precision and professionalism. Specializing in commercial loan transactions, representation of commercial banks and lenders, and other various real estate matters.
