Barbara Brown

Barbara is admitted to practice law in Florida and Texas and has been practicing locally in the Tampa Bay Area since 2002. She is recognized by her peers in the legal community as one of the Top Lawyers in the Tampa Bay Area by Tampa Bay Magazine. With a passion toward real estate law, Barbara sits as a Director on the Bay Area Real Estate Counsel. She is also a member of the Attorneys' Title Fund Services, LLC, providing residential and commercial real estate closing, title insurance, and escrow services. Charitable work, community involvement, accomplishments, etc. – My personal life and my law firm is rooted in the community and for that reason we support many charitable organizations through active participation and donations, FYSA TOPSoccer (financial contributor and personally an active speaker on Guardianships and Special Needs Trusts), FARA (Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance) – Pull for a Cure (skeet shooting event sponsor and team participant), Florida Elite TOPSoccer program (active involvement as a buddy volunteer and financial support for new equipment for the local TOPSoccer program), Canine Companions for Independence (financial contributor); and President, Raising Down Syndrome Network, 2014 – 2015 (active involvement as President and financial contributor); YMCA – Reindeer Run Event (Support team participants who ran, I did not, and sponsor).

I am currently working towards a Master of Laws (LL.M.) Degree at the University of Miami, School of Law, in the Robert Traurig-Greenberg Traurig – LL.M. - Real Property Development program. I finished the 2024 Fall semester with a cumulative GPA of 3.932, having taken 23 cumulative total units, with graduation set for Spring of 2026. This allows me to gain insight and education for amazing professors in specific fields of study involving real property development, which in turn allows me to better support my associate attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
