Attorney Barbara Brown
Barbara is admitted to practice law in Florida and Texas and has been practicing locally in the Tampa Bay Area since 2002. She is recognized by her peers in the legal community as one of the Top Lawyers in the Tampa Bay Area by Tampa Bay Magazine. With a passion toward real estate law, Barbara sits as a Director on the Bay Area Real Estate Counsel. She is also a member of the Attorneys’ Title Fund Services, LLC, providing residential and commercial real estate closing, title insurance, and escrow services. Barbara has chosen to surround herself with top qualified attorneys and legal staff.Christopher is our official mascot and the light of Barbara’s life!
Attorney Colton Chrimes
Colton is a seasoned attorney with over six years of experience in the legal field. He graduated from Florida State University with a double Major in Finance and Real Estate and attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law for his Juris Doctorate. Most recently, he obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Real Property Development from the University of Miami.
Attorney Ashley J. Likens
Attorney Ashley Likens hails from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Science specifically studying Strategic Communications and attended law school in Columbus, Ohio before moving to Florida. Ashley has represented the largest insurance companies in personal injury matters and business/employment disputes. She has since set her sights on helping clients make an impact and being a voice for those who need to be heard. Ashley is highly adaptable to any legal situation and has a knack for taking on challenges.
Alexandra Leonard – Operations Director
Alexandra graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Relational Communications. She has extensive professional administrative and client relations experience. She is extremely ambitious and takes pride in everything that she does.
Patricia Soissong – Accounting Manager
Patricia was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 1990. She worked in the hotel business as a Controller for over 30 years. She has been married for 42 years and has two grown children, one grandson, a retired racing greyhound and two cats. She enjoys reading and solving word search puzzles.
Dena Burke – Compliance Manager / Post Closer
Dena Burke has been in the title industry for about 25 years. She has owned her own title company as well as worked for other title companies. She is a degreed Paralegal (AS) which assists tremendously when dealing with title issues. Her expertise is in Quality Control issues. She is originally from Wisconsin but has lived in Florida since 1983. She has 3 children, all of which are grown and 6 grandchildren.
Kevin Nims-Title Insurance Agent
Kevin is a North Carolina native. He has lived in Tampa, Fl since 1996. Kevin is a licensed Title Insurance Agent and he has been in the title industry since 2004. With 18 years’ experience as a closer, Kevin is attuned to the little details and works hard to make sure each real estate sale or refinance is settled professionally. Kevin has a warm communication style, and he is always available to answer questions regarding your real estate sale or refinance. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and enjoys cooking out on the weekends.
Steven White – Sr. Paralegal
Steven White is a retired attorney who has been a business consultant since 2008 training and representing small businesses and government contractors. He was Regional Counsel for the U.S. Small Business Administration and a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Philadelphia. He is a business owner and has been providing local legal support services. Steven has a B.A. and J.D. degree from Temple University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
Kim Creasy – Title Processor/Closer
Kim has been in the Title Industry for almost 25 years. She is a Licensed Title Agent and has her Associates Degree as a Paralegal. She has worked with a wide range of real estate transactions, REO Sales, Short Sales, Refinance, Commercial Properties and regular home purchases. Her 25 years of experience in these types of transactions makes her knowledgeable, flexible and a problem solver. She has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1980, is originally from Sacramento California. She has a husband of 29 years, 2 children and 2 grandsons that keep her busy. She enjoys her Family, 2 dogs, gardening and just goofing off on the weekends.
Araxtha Sanchez – Paralegal
Araxtha Sanchez, a native of Roatan, Honduras is a licensed lawyer in Costa Rica. She earned her Bachelor of Law Degree from the Latin University of Costa Rica and a Master’s in Business Administration degree with Emphasis on General Management from Fidelitas University of Costa Rica. Having lived abroad for several years in Costa Rica and now residing in her home country of Honduras, she has developed a broad perspective and deep understanding of diverse legal systems, enhancing her ability to assist clients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside her legal work, Araxtha Sanchez is passionate about providing pro bono assistance to businesses and nonprofit organizations on the island of Roatan.
Renee Paguaga – Legal Assistant
Renee Paguaga is a professional from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, with a degree from Universidad José Cecilio del Valle. With four years of experience in claims management and legal assistance, she has developed strong skills in legal research, case analysis, and efficient case resolution. Renee is dedicated to accuracy and professionalism, continuously expanding her expertise in the legal field.
Kyle Lansky – Law Clerk
Kyle is a long time Tampa bay resident, graduating high school from Newsome in Lithia. Kyle earned his undergraduate degree from University of Florida with a Political Science major. Kyle earned his Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M college of law. Kyle was inspired to be an attorney by his father who has been an attorney for 30+ years. Kyle has a passion for helping and uplifting others. In his free time Kyle likes to Golf, Grill, and is a big time sports fan who enjoys attending games.
