Barbara M. Brown brings over two decades of dynamic legal experience, with a focus on real estate law, litigation, asset protection, and probate. Admitted to practice in both Florida and Texas, Barbara has been a driving force in the Tampa Bay legal community since 2002. She currently serves as President of the Bay Area Real Estate Council and sits on multiple advisory boards, including the Florida Attorneys’ Real Estate Council.

Dena Burke has been in the title industry for about 25 years. She has owned her own title company as well as worked for other title companies. She is a degreed Paralegal (AS) which assists tremendously when dealing with title issues. Her expertise is in Quality Control issues. She is originally from Wisconsin but has lived in Florida since 1983. She has 3 children, all of which are grown and 6 grandchildren.

Kevin Nims

Kevin Nims – Director of Office & Client Services

Kevin is a North Carolina native. He has lived in Tampa, Fl since 1996. Kevin is a licensed Title Insurance Agent and he has been in the title industry since 2004. With 18 years’ experience as a closer, Kevin is attuned to the little details and works hard to make sure each real estate sale or refinance is settled professionally. Kevin has a warm communication style, and he is always available to answer questions regarding your real estate sale or refinance. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and enjoys cooking out on the weekends.

Steven White is a retired attorney who has been a business consultant since 2008 training and representing small businesses and government contractors. He was Regional Counsel for the U.S. Small Business Administration and a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Philadelphia. He is a business owner and has been providing local legal support services. Steven has a B.A. and J.D. degree from Temple University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.

Kim has been in the Title Industry for almost 25 years. She is a Licensed Title Agent and has her Associates Degree as a Paralegal. She has worked with a wide range of real estate transactions, REO Sales, Short Sales, Refinance, Commercial Properties and regular home purchases. Her 25 years of experience in these types of transactions makes her knowledgeable, flexible and a problem solver. She has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1980, is originally from Sacramento California. She has a husband of 29 years, 2 children and 2 grandsons that keep her busy. She enjoys her Family, 2 dogs, gardening and just goofing off on the weekends.

Araxtha Sanchez, a native of Roatan, Honduras is a licensed lawyer in Costa Rica. She earned her Bachelor of Law Degree from the Latin University of Costa Rica and a Master’s in Business Administration degree with Emphasis on General Management from Fidelitas University of Costa Rica. Having lived abroad for several years in Costa Rica and now residing in her home country of Honduras, she has developed a broad perspective and deep understanding of diverse legal systems, enhancing her ability to assist clients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside her legal work, Araxtha Sanchez is passionate about providing pro bono assistance to businesses and nonprofit organizations on the island of Roatan.

Tim is a seasoned real estate professional with over 10 years of experience helping clients navigate Florida’s dynamic property market. A proud Florida native, Tim brings a deep understanding of the local communities, neighborhoods, and lifestyle opportunities that make the Tampa Bay area unique.

For the past nine years, Tim has been a valued member of William Kimpton’s firm, where he has built a reputation for excellence, integrity, and results. Known for his exceptional communication skills and commitment to delivering white-glove customer service, Tim ensures that every client’s real estate/law journey is seamless, personalized, and rewarding.

Beyond his professional achievements, Tim is passionate about golf and sport fishing—hobbies that reflect his love for Florida’s vibrant outdoor lifestyle.

Judy D’Amico

Judy D’Amico – Title Processor and Closer

I have supported Attorney William J. Kimpton for 29 years, starting at the bottom. I have worked in all stages of a real estate transaction, processing, closing, warehousing, etc. for residential and commercial property. Being an experienced closer of unique transactions, I place a lot of emphasis on detail, accuracy and seamless client experiences. Originally from Pennsylvania, I have lived in Pinellas County, Florida for 39 years. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology and an Associate degree in design. Married with 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 3 granddogs.

Shellyn was born and raised in Southern Maryland, just south of Washington, D.C., and made the move to sunny Florida in 2013. With over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, she brings a deep understanding of finance and business operations. Her work is guided by a strong commitment to accuracy, integrity, and excellence.

Outside the office, Shellyn enjoys an active lifestyle. Whether she’s bowling, playing pickleball, or hiking, she loves spending time outdoors. Above all, family is her greatest joy—she’s a proud mom of three and a devoted grandma aka “Grammy” to four wonderful grandchildren.

Brandon Craver

Brandon Craver – Client Intake and Scheduling Coordinator

Legal studies graduate with a background in law and front-office operations, bringing strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to team collaboration and community engagement. Originally from Pensacola, but now based in Clearwater, FL.

Emilia graduated Cum Laude from Universidad San Francisco de Quito and has held several leadership positions, including Deputy Director at the Ecuadorian Institute of Procedural Law, Editorial Assistant for the USFQ Law Working Papers, Co-Director of the Environmental Law Club, and Board Member of the Argumentation & Litigation Club. Through these roles, she has collaborated on academic events, legal forums, and student outreach initiatives.

Known for her reliability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills in English and Spanish, Emilia brings solid research abilities and organized, client-focused support to international legal teams.
